Cooperation between the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and the Park resident – GBSoft Ltd. started in February 2024 with a series of lectures on “Fundamentals of software development on the 1C platform” for teachers and students. In August, the parties entered a new stage by signing a bilateral cooperation agreement, an important element of which will be a training laboratory on the basis of BSUIR.

The new laboratory will be a subdivision of the Department of Economic Informatics of the Faculty of Engineering and Economics. It will be engaged in research and applied works, as well as into projects to solve scientific and technical problems in the field of information technologies. The University will provide the necessary premises for this purpose.

In addition, in an effort to combine professional knowledge, skills and abilities, business reputation, scientific research and the latest information technologies, BSUIR and GBSoft have jointly developed an educational program, which is aimed at in-depth study and practical application of 1C platform technologies. The program will be included in lecture, practical and laboratory classes for third- and fourth-year students of the Department of Economic Informatics in the upcoming academic year.

Within the framework of the signed agreement, GBSoft Park will provide practical training for the students of the Economic Informatics Department. The internship will be held in a specially equipped computer class of the Certified Training Center, where students will get additional practical knowledge and skills of programming on the 1C platform, which certainly increases their competitiveness.

By the way, the company's management plans to support the employment of BSUIR students and recommend young specialists to the company's major clients and 1C franchisee firms. Such interaction not only contributes to the popularization of 1C platform as a powerful tool for development, but also emphasizes its importance as a unique combination of technology and business, opening up promising opportunities for juniors.
