Hi-Tech Park hosts a meeting with a delegation from Serbia
A delegation of the Republic of Serbia headed by the Minister of Information and Telecommunications Dejan Ristić visits Hi-Tech Park. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to Belarus Ilina Vukajlović also attends the meeting.
During the visit, the guests learned about the history of Hi-Tech Park, legal conditions of operation, achievements, and a wide range of high-tech products of the resident companies.
The parties exchanged views on the prospects of Belarusian-Serbian cooperation in IT and high technologies.
An important topic of the meeting is the achievements and developments in the field of education as a basis for IT development. “Eastern Europe traditionally has a strong STEM school,” highlighted Nenad Paunović, Advisor to the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia on IT, biotechnology and innovations. The Serbian side appreciates the active role of HTP in this process.
During the meeting in Hi-Tech Park the guests were presented the developments in the field of medtech. Thus, Platform ‘Medict’ featured the ‘smart operating room’ Sirius, which unites the entire operating unit into a single information space. The RIAmed project where algorithms and technologies for real-time collection and processing of big data from medical equipment for risk management when making medical decisions are implemented (Digital Resuscitation LLC) and a software complex for processing, three-dimensional reconstruction, transmission and storage of medical diagnostic images 3D MeD (Cometa Rad LLC) were also presented by the residents.
The head of the Serbian delegation noted the exceptional results of Hi-Tech Park: “They are very motivating for us. The experience of Belarus is very useful for Serbia”.
