Development of contacts with Germany was discussed in Hi-Tech Park

Otto Graf, Deputy Head of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of Belarus, visited Hi-Tech Park. The first meeting since 2020 was held on the initiative of the Representative Office of the German Economy in the Republic of Belarus.

During the visit, the guests learnt about the history of the Park, its contribution to the country's economy, legal conditions of work, the main models of digital business, national approach to the development of technological companies.

The focus was on IT products and competences of HTP residents in various industries: from fintech to industrial technologies, healthcare, VR, etc.

Alexander Bazanov, the Director of Hi-Tech Park, spoke about Belarusian achievements in the field of IT education, noting that HTP residents successfully cooperate with the country's universities, jointly forming the human resources potential of the IT industry in Belarus.

The German diplomats were particularly interested in the new inclusive project ‘Computer science unplugged - for every child’, which is implemented by HTP together with the Ministry of Education and is aimed at the development of logical thinking and the formation of algorithmic skills in children with special developmental needs.

Vladimir Avgustinsky, Head of the Representative Office of the German Economy in the Republic of Belarus, emphasised the productive nature of the meeting and readiness to continue cooperation with Hi-Tech Park.
