Belarus clarifies legislation in the sphere of token circulation

On September 17, the President of the Republic of Belarus signed Decree No. 367 «On the circulation of digital signs (tokens)». The document is aimed at strengthening the protection of Belarusian citizens from cybercrimes committed with the use of cryptocurrencies.

The list of transactions with tokens (allowed for individuals, provided for by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 8 «On the Development of the Digital Economy» of December 21, 2017), is not changed. At the same time, the new Decree clarifies the procedure for transferring and receiving money in transactions involving the purchase and sale of tokens. 

As of today, the following residents of Hi-Tech Park have the right to carry out activities in the field of tokens:
