German-Belarusian Economic Club visits Hi-Tech Park

Hi-Tech Park management hosted a meeting with the German-Belarusian Economic Club members. Among the participants of the event were Hi-Tech Park resident-companies North IT Group, Silk Data, Seavus, A1 ICT Services. 

Kirill Zalessky, Deputy Director of Hi-Tech Park, presented current information about the Park, its achievements and the potential of the Belarusian IT-industry. 

"Hi-Tech Park today is, without exaggeration, the biggest driver of Belarusian economy, accounting for almost 5% of the GDP and 33% of the export of services of the entire country," Kirill Zalessky emphasized.

1.JPGDiscussing the prospects of Belarusian-German cooperation in the field of IT, Deputy Director noted: "Hi-Tech Park export to Germany in 2021 was only 3.4% of the total amount. Therefore, it is necessary to use all opportunities to expand cooperation". 

In his turn, Head of the German-Belarusian Economic Club in Belarus, Stefan Hoffmann underlined: "In the current situation, it is important for European business to get reliable information at first hand, rather than dwell on rumors and speculations. The Club is grateful for the opportunity to exchange opinions on the state and further development of the Belarusian IT-industry in 2022, especially in the context of cooperation with German companies".
