HTP Supported the International Conference OSTIS-2012

The second International Science and Technical Conference Open Semantic Technologies for Intelligent Systems (OSTIS-2012) was held on the 16th-17th of February, 2012 on the basis of Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics in Minsk. 

Organizational support to this event was provided by Russian Association of Artificial Intelligence, HTP Administration, its residents (VirusBlokAda, Scand, Exigen Services, Generation_P Consulting, Itransition, Melsoft).

Students as well as ICT experts actively participate in the conference. 

An exhibition of participators developments was organized within the framework of the conference. Wide range of developments, including system for definition of the emotional state of the speaker's voice, using neuronal and semantic networks for the earth surface bitmap images segmentation, semantic universals in the system of morphemes meanings description, intellectual geographic information systems, computer-assisted design of interactive methods for foreign language teaching and others, were presented here.

Round table discussions were also organized. During the meetings young scientists discussed the issues they are interested in and exchanged views with famous Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian scientists and experts.
