About IT Outsourcing industry in Belarus

More and more foreign businesses when considering their competitive outsourcing strategy decide in favor of outsourcing software development services from Belarus, which now belongs to one of the largest offshore programming service providers in Eastern Europe.

Forbes magazine in its article about Belarusian Bangalore points out the following figures: Per capita income from IT-services export in Belarus equals that of India and heavily exceeds that of Russia and Ukraine. Belarusian companies are among the largest offshore programming service providers in Eastern Europe. The country is famous for its strong computer programming school. It is Belarus which hosts the think tanks of the two largest software development companies of the four located in Eastern Europe. More often the West views Belarus as one of the hubs of the world offshore programming. The majority of large IT-companies in Belarus are export-oriented..

The news can hardly take anyone by surprise since Belarus is famous for its strong computer programming school and due to its offshore location it can offer highly competitive rates. Nevertheless it well proves the vision of Belarus as one of the hubs and the think tanks of the world offshore programming.
