B2C Booking Website

Our company developed a complete turn-key solution for online travel agencies - Universal Travel Engine (UTE). An agency only needs to add a few lines of code to their website to get a fully functional booking system. The look-and-feel of each B2C site can answer any requirements, because the front-end rendering and output is based on XSLT.
The major part of UTE is the optimized back-office, which aggregates travel offers from 50 German tour operators and 20 airlines. The normal workload for the back-office is 6 billion offers a day. UTE allows B2C visitors to search for travel offers on multiple parameters from numerous databases, check availability, access hotel details, book travel offers from German tour operators. The search module works with package tours, last minute offers, hotels and flights.

Travel24.com AG is a top-ten online German B2C agency. The previous version of Travel24.com website was based on the LAMP platform (PHP) and could not cope with the growing volume of site visitors and the need to import and process billions of price offers. Travel24.com AG also set an ambitious goal of offering white-label functionality in the new platform which would dramatically grow its market share.
Our company acted as a partner of the contracting company Buchunsgmaschine AG and took part in concept development, architecture planning, development and support of the successfully created system. After the new website was launched, Travel24.com AG could benefit from the fastest travel search application in the German market, which processed billions of packages and stand-alone products from 50 German tour operators. The new platform also helped Travel24.com gain over a hundred distribution partners among German travel companies, airports and non-travel companies with large travel departments.
