The latest solutions in the area of banking sector automation developed by two HTP resident-companies Softclub – Development Centre and System Technologies were presented to the management of Sberbank during the visit to HTP on July 21, 2010.

The main objective of the Sberbank and BPS-Bank delegation visit to HTP Administration was establishment of business contacts and familiarization with the terms of the special legal and taxation regime of HTP Belarus. Sberbank was represented by Viktor Orlovsky, Senior Vice-President of Sberbank, supervising the ICT sector of the bank. BPS-Bank was represented by Vasily Matiushevsky, Chairman of the Board, and Viktor Vasiliuk, Deputy Chairman of the Board.

Viktor Orlovsky noted the high professional level of Belarus developers, who long since successfully cooperate both with Sberbank and BPS-Bank. For instance, HTP resident-company EPAM Systems implemented the project “Sberb@nk on-line”, developed more than 20 different projects for the internal operations automation of Sberbank, and provided process buses for the Treasury of the Russian Federation and the tax ledger system.

Sberbank is not only the largest bank of the Russian Federation and CIS, but also a leader in the field of ICT implementation. According to the ambitious strategy of the bank development by 2014 it is planned to gradually unify its software and data storage systems and to create a single information space that meets reliability, availability and other operating requirements.

After the presentation the guests visited the office of HTP resident-company System Technologies, where familiarized with the terms and the process of software development in HTP.
