On March 25, 2009 the Belarusian National Technical University hosted the official opening of Joint Educational Research and Innovation Lab. The lab was jointly established by the Technical University and DAAD – German Academic Exchange Service with support of SaM Solutions, one of the leading Belarusian IT companies and Belarus Hi-Tech Park residents.

In the opened laboratory DAAD will hold specialized testing and trainings, the Belarusian National Technical University will hold there academic classes. The research laboratory will significantly contribute to Germanic studies and support of talented students, university teaching staff and university scientific brainpower providing for study courses and scientific research in Germany.

The opening ceremony was visited by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Alexander Radkov who emphasized the importance of development of higher education infrastructure and qualitative trainings of specialists in IT sector. Managing Director of SaM Solutions Mr. Marat Ebzeev noted that a large number of SaM Solutions’ employees had been previously DAAD scholarship holders and the Joint Educational Research and Innovation Lab operating on the premises of the Belarusian National Technical University would be a contribution of SaM Solutions to the program of support for talented students, university faculty and researchers.
