Expert Board of Belarus Hi-Tech Park
The Administration of Belarus Hi-Tech Park has established the functioning of the system of independent interagency scientific and technical assessment of the documentation submitted by applicants.
The HTP Expert Board was established in January 2007.
Leading scientists and specialists from R&D and development organizations and higher education institutions who possess professional expertise and experience in the field of science, technical knowledge and other spheres relevant to the major activities of the Park became members of the Expert Board.
The assessment procedure is a set of actions aimed at the analysis and evaluation of the level of ICT and software development including other technologies as to their attribution to modern and high technologies in compliance with the activities of the Park. The assessment also includes the preparation of an opinion letter based on the results of the scientific and technical appraisal as to the importance and significance of the submitted business projects for the development of modern and high technologies.
When the assessment procedures are carried out, the way the technologies and products (work, services, objects of intellectual property) stipulated in the business project are in compliance with the national strategy of design and development of modern and high technologies, their scientific and technical level of development and advantages, competitiveness, the importance and significance of the development of modern and high technologies, possibilities of export increase and (or) reduction of products import (work, services, property rights for objects of intellectual property) including the social value of business project implementation is evaluated.
